Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.90%

Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the CommunicationReal Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.90% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 4.86% or 147.00 points to trade at 3,172.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 4.34% or 246.00 points to end at 5,910.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 4.28% or 33.20 points to 808.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 1.50% or 1,120.00 points to trade at 73,400.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 1.08% or 24.00 points to end at 2,201.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 0.99% or 660.00 points to 66,150.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 318 to 154 and 29 ended unchanged.

Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.08% or 24.00 to 2,201.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.50% or 1.87 to $76.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.61% or 2.04 to hit $80.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.40 to trade at $1,999.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.07% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.99.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 101.43.
