Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.70%

Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Telecoms & IT and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210), which rose 6.06% or 11.40 points to trade at 199.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) added 5.02% or 3.20 points to end at 66.90 and Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164) was up 3.70% or 5.60 points to 157.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Musharaka REIT (TADAWUL:4335), which fell 7.76% or 0.58 points to trade at 6.89 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 6.25% or 0.01 points to end at 0.15 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2220) was down 3.65% or 0.72 points to 19.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 203 to 67 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) rose to all time highs; rising 6.06% or 11.40 to 199.40. Shares in Musharaka REIT (TADAWUL:4335) fell to all time lows; losing 7.76% or 0.58 to 6.89.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.21% or 1.82 to $80.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.86% or 1.60 to hit $84.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 8.15 to trade at $1,935.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 102.88.
