Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.19%

Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Retail and Cement sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.19%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 6.06% or 4.80 points to trade at 84.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) added 4.90% or 3.40 points to end at 72.80 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (TADAWUL:2360) was up 4.19% or 2.10 points to 52.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 10.00% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.18 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061) declined 9.93% or 0.14 points to end at 1.27 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) was down 4.04% or 0.44 points to 10.46.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 131 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.06% or 4.80 to 84.00.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.27% or 0.20 to $73.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.20% or 0.16 to hit $78.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 2.55 to trade at $1,929.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.03% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 101.85.
