Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.14%

Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport, Cement and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which rose 6.29% or 11.20 points to trade at 189.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 5.88% or 0.01 points to end at 0.18 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was up 5.15% or 0.60 points to 12.24 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380), which fell 2.91% or 0.32 points to trade at 10.66 at the close. National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) declined 2.85% or 3.20 points to end at 109.20 and Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) was down 2.66% or 4.20 points to 153.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 108 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.37% or 1.04 to $76.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.41% or 1.12 to hit $80.75 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 3.25 to trade at $1,977.55 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.27% to 4.20, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.09% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 100.10.
