Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.08%

Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Transport and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (TADAWUL:4310), which rose 9.54% or 1.32 points to trade at 15.16 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 4.38% or 5.60 points to end at 133.60 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was up 4.37% or 0.54 points to 12.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300), which fell 4.01% or 0.66 points to trade at 15.78 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) declined 3.63% or 7.40 points to end at 196.60 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (TADAWUL:2180) was down 3.31% or 1.80 points to 52.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 124 and 27 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.06% or 0.05 to $90.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.10% or 0.09 to hit $94.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 10.75 to trade at $1,964.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.39% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 104.47.
