Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Hotels & Tourism and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.04% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170), which rose 9.47% or 0.09 points to trade at 1.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Almarai Company (TADAWUL:2280) added 9.40% or 5.50 points to end at 64.00 and Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111) was up 7.47% or 13.40 points to 192.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061), which fell 3.72% or 1.00 points to trade at 25.90 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270) declined 3.55% or 13.20 points to end at 358.80 and Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201) was down 1.94% or 0.20 points to 10.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 185 to 79 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061) fell to all time highs; falling 3.72% or 1.00 to 25.90. Shares in Almarai Company (TADAWUL:2280) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.40% or 5.50 to 64.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.86% or 0.60 to $70.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.75% or 0.56 to hit $74.85 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 12.60 to trade at $1,971.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 102.39
