Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.37%

Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Transport, Cement and Retail sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8120), which rose 9.95% or 1.22 points to trade at 13.48 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010) added 7.28% or 3.30 points to end at 48.60 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) was up 7.15% or 4.40 points to 65.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (TADAWUL:2050), which fell 7.45% or 2.95 points to trade at 36.65 at the close. Fitaihi Holding Group (TADAWUL:4180) declined 4.85% or 0.18 points to end at 3.53 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) was down 4.55% or 5.00 points to 105.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 91 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8120) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.95% or 1.22 to 13.48. Shares in Fitaihi Holding Group (TADAWUL:4180) fell to all time lows; falling 4.85% or 0.18 to 3.53. Shares in Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) rose to 52-week highs; rising 7.15% or 4.40 to 65.90.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.10% or 0.91 to $83.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.79% or 0.68 to hit $86.85 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.05 to trade at $1,958.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 102.18.
