PS5 Pro players should expect “stunning visual fidelity” in an upcoming RPG, thanks to the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology. The RPG in question is none other than Capcom‘s highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, which will release on February 28.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest RPG launching with PS5 Pro support
Monster Hunter Wilds joins a growing list of major AAA games offering PS5 Pro support at launch. Capcom has said that the game will offer a visual boost while maintaining performance, so there shouldn’t be any compromises. That said, Capcom has warned that frame rates may drop “in situations of high system load.”

Prioritize Resolution: Ray tracing enabled, output and rendering resolution 3840 x 2160 and 3072 x 1728, frame rate 30 fps

Balanced: Ray tracing enabled, output and rendering resolution 3840 x 2160 and 2496 x 1404, frame rate 40 fps

Prioritize Frame Rate: Ray tracing disabled, output and rendering resolution 3840 x 2160 and 1920 x 1080, frame rate 60 fps

As a reminder, Monster Hunter Wilds will undergo another free beta test later today until Sunday evening, February 9. You can add the beta to your library right now via the PS Store.
