Global Lights Acquisition Corp Announces Pricing of $60 Million Initial Public Offering

Global Lights Acquisition Corp (the “Company”), a blank check company incorporated in the Cayman Islands, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,000,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit. Each unit consists of one ordinary share and one right, with each right entitling the holder thereof to receive one-sixth of one ordinary share upon consummation of an initial business combination. The units are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Market (“Nasdaq”) and trade under the ticker symbol “GLACU” beginning on November 14, 2023. After the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the ordinary shares and rights are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “GLAC” and “GLACR,” respectively. The offering is expected to close on November 16, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.

Chardan Capital Markets, LLC (“Chardan”) is acting as sole book-running manager of the offering. The Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.

A registration statement relating to these securities was declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on November 13, 2023.
