Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.73%

Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Building & Construction and Cement sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.73%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (TADAWUL:1304), which rose 10.00% or 2.45 points to trade at 26.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Filing & Packing Materials Co. (TADAWUL:2180) added 7.58% or 3.10 points to end at 44.00 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) was up 7.00% or 1.70 points to 26.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which fell 9.95% or 16.00 points to trade at 144.80 at the close. Sumou Real Estate Company JSCC (TADAWUL:4323) declined 5.09% or 2.60 points to end at 48.50 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) was down 4.26% or 4.40 points to 99.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 176 to 91 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $87.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.23% or 0.21 to hit $90.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 5.95 to trade at $1,948.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 104.10.
