Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.18%

Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport, Retail and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 8.11% or 7.20 points to trade at 96.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 6.67% or 0.01 points to end at 0.16 and Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) was up 4.86% or 10.20 points to 220.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6040), which fell 3.87% or 0.66 points to trade at 16.38 at the close. AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) declined 3.73% or 1.20 points to end at 30.95 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050) was down 3.48% or 1.00 points to 27.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 151 to 104 and 24 ended unchanged.

Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) rose to 52-week highs; rising 8.11% or 7.20 to 96.00. Shares in Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.86% or 10.20 to 220.00.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.43% or 0.35 to $80.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.27% or 0.23 to hit $84.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1,935.05 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.98.
