Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.22%

Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Petrochemicals and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.22%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Almarai Company (TADAWUL:2280), which rose 6.21% or 3.80 points to trade at 65.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) added 5.49% or 10.00 points to end at 192.00 and Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) was up 4.54% or 1.65 points to 38.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 5.88% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.16 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) declined 5.50% or 0.58 points to end at 9.96 and Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (TADAWUL:4342) was down 3.06% or 0.40 points to 12.66.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 102 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.69% or 0.58 to $83.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.41% or 0.36 to hit $87.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.75 to trade at $1,949.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.47% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 101.99.
